Risk Factors of Frontotemporal Dementia with Special Reference to Statistical Validity
Chen H, et al. (1) reported an important article about the risk factors of frontotemporal dementia (FTD). The authors managed 108 elderly patients (36 diagnosed with FTD and 72 controls). By multiple binary logistic regression analyses, adjusted odds ratios (ORs) (95% confidence intervals [CIs]) of education , serum vitamin B12 levels and serum low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels for FTD were 1.60 (1.17–2.19), 0.99 (0.98–0.99) and 8.54 (2.86–25.49), respectively. I have a query about their study with special reference to statistical validity.
