Sight Loss Podcast Series

The Braille Institute of America has produced a number of recordings for their Sound Solutions podcasts series that offer advice on variety of topics related to sight loss. Several of their more recent episodes, including “What To Do When a Loved One Loses Sight” and “What To Do When Grandma Can’t See,” provide guidance to caregivers for those beginning to experience symptoms of a visual disability. The mission of the series is to provide patients with advice for maintaining as much independence as possible through their journey with sight loss. There are currently 13 different recordings and growing varying from 15 to 50 minutes in length. Each recording can also be downloaded as an MP3 file.
