My OTF brag

First some context – I am a 68-year-old man who started doing OTF Labor Day weekend 2015 (thanks to my daughter). I had lost 35-40 pounds 2 years previously, and had kept them off. I was running regularly prior to OTF. OTF attracted me because I saw that the workouts would complement my running and improve it. I knew that I needed some strength work and the treadmill variety that OTF provided. OTF gives us the opportunity to test ourselves twice a year.  During Peak Performance Week I focus on 4 activities. The proof is in the Peak Performance Week times: Event June 16 Jan 17 July 17 500 meter row 1.4 min 1.34 min 1.31 min 24 minute run 2.7 miles 2.85 miles 2.88 miles 2000 meter row 7:45 min 7:24 min 7:00 min 1 mile run 8:21 min 7:52 min 7:45 min   As others have written, the program works. I am already striving for new goals for Jan 18. When an old guy like me can make such progress, the efficacy of these workouts seems very obvious. I clearly have different goals and capabilities than OTFers half my age, but achieving my goals is the key.  At OTF the atmosphere is great.  We root for each other to achieve individual goals. So thanks to the great coaches who push me, congratulate me, and help me enjoy every workout. And yes, every workout causes a soaked shirt. Readers know how infatuated I have become with Orange Theory Fitness.  My new fitness levels have exceeded my hopes when I started. My wife says I look better, and I feel better.
