Let ’s Make Academic Radiology Great Again

Today ’s skeptics may paint a very gloomy picture of academic radiology. These issues are echoing throughout North America: clinical workload is insane, reimbursement is plummeting, 24/7/365 coverage is destroying the work-life balance, and artificial intelligence will soon make us jobless. The pessimis ts should hold off to fold our tent and instead seriously consider the ways to continue to attract the best and the brightest to our specialty.
