Effects of mesiodens on adjacent permanent teeth: a retrospective study in Korean children based on cone ‐beam computed tomography
ConclusionsMesiodens caused eruption‐related complications in 33.7% patients. Moreover, the risk of these complications was higher when mesiodens caused delayed development of the central incisors. These findings can aid clinicians in planning appropriate and timely treatment for mesiodens, with focus on minimising patient discomfort.
