Seeking contributors for NNLM Training Office Webinar – Teaching Topics: Successes, Flops, and Far-Out ideas

Are you a librarian-instructor working with students, faculty and/or staff in the health sciences? How do you teach PubMed (or other NLM resources)? The NNLM Training Office seeks contributors to a webinar spotlighting instructional projects of by our health science and hospital library community.  This one-hour session will present at least six projects from libraries across the United States. Our goal is to share new ideas plus tried and true methods for teaching PubMed, or other NLM resources, to diverse audiences. We want to hear from libraries in a variety of settings. For consideration, send a brief description (250 words or less) of your instructional project and how it could be useful to other librarians to Molly Knapp. Indicate your preferred presentation length: 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 15 minutes. Please note: we request presentations be limited to around 5 slides. The date of the webinar is Thursday, August 10 at 2:30 PM EST – as this is a live webinar, presenters must be available on that date. Send your proposal to Molly Knapp by Wednesday, June 21, 2017. You do great work, let others know about it!
