An ulcer on the lower lip

A 73-year-old woman was admitted to our Dermatology Unit because of an ulcer on the lower lip. The patient stated that she was in good general health, except for essential arterial hypertension, for which she was in therapy with nifedipine (10 mg/day). She also declared that the ulcer had appeared approximately three weeks before (one month after a trip to Israel), and that it rapidly enlarged up to the current morphology and size.
