Relation of Echocardiographic Parameters to Outcome of Patients with Severe Sepsis and Septic Shock

Conclusion: Diastolic dysfunction was common and a major predictor of mortality and outcome in severe sepsis and septic shock and was well correlated with APACHE-II score.
