Every decade, the Healthy People initiative develops a new set of science-based, 10-year national objectives for improving the health of all Americans. Healthy People establishes benchmarks and monitors progress over time in order to encourage collaborations across communities and sectors, empower individuals toward making informed health decisions, and measure the impact of prevention activities. Join the American Public Health Association (APHA) and the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) for an informative webinar on the progress of Healthy People 2020, and the development of Healthy People 2030.
