DOI: 10.1002/mnfr.201600659 Nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including aspirin, diclofenac, indomethacin, and ketoprofen, are widely used in clinical medicine, but these drugs may cause gastrointestinal ulcers. This review confirms that dietary phytochemicals possess protective effects and curative potential for ulcers that is mediated by improving angiogenesis and up‐regulation antioxidant enzymes.
