Apnoeic Oxygenation in Pregnancy: A Modelling Investigation

(Abstracted from Anaesthesia, 71(9):1077–1080, 2016) Apneic oxygenation is defined as the mass inflow of oxygen that occurs during apnea if there is an open airway and an oxygen source. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of apneic oxygenation on the time to critical desaturation using a computational model in a parturient.
