Correlation of Probability Scores of Placenta Accreta on Magnetic Resonance Imaging With Hemorrhagic Morbidity

(Abstracted from J Clin Anesth, 34:261–269, 2016) Owing to increases in both cesarean delivery rates and maternal age, the incidence of placenta accreta is rising. Placenta accreta is an unusual type of placentation that is associated with maternal hemorrhage, which is one of the leading causes of maternal death in both developed and developing countries.
