High doses of recombinant mannan ‐binding lectin inhibit the binding of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 virus with cells expressing DC‐SIGN
This study demonstrates that high doses of MBL can inhibit binding of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 virus to DC‐SIGN‐expressing cells in the presence of complement. Our results suggest that DC‐SIGN may be an alternative receptor for influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 virus.
