Apheresis education in pathology residency
ConclusionsThe pathology department performed apheresis procedures in two‐thirds of pathology residency programs surveyed. AP/CP residents were more likely to be required to train in apheresis medicine if the pathology department performed these procedures at their institution. Apheresis medicine practitioners should review the Milestones for Apheresis education with their residency program director to optimize learning and clinical skills development.
