Heather Sharp given industry recognition for leadership skills

The list recognises 35 people under the age of 35 that are set to be future leaders in the UK events industry. Nominees are selected by senior management within the biggest event agencies, based on outstanding performance, leadership qualities and their impact and contributions to their respective companies. Heather joined Ashfield Meetings & Events in 2010 as a Project Executive. She instantly showed passion and promise and has progressed through the agency to her current role. Heather is now responsible for a team of over 20 people that work with 15 clients. She has paid special attention to developing her team’s skills and encouraging collaborative behaviours and creative thinking. Nicola Burns (Global Managing Director) commented on Heather’s nomination, praising her for her contribution to the business: “With her full service background, Heather continuously ensures her teams are acquainted with the latest tools and technology to add value to their clients’ events.
