The great simulator: A historical presentation involving miliary tuberculosis and Pott ’s disease in an immunocompetent young female patient aged 25

We report the case of an immunocompetent woman aged 25, suffering from inflammatory back pain associated with fever and weight loss in postpartum. Chest CT-scan showed a miliary and spine CT-scan revealed the presence of staged spondylodiscitis with epiduritis. The diagnosis of tuberculosis was made by the detection of bacillus in the pus of paravertebral abscess.
