Sonographic correlation between measures of the median nerve and electrophysiological severity in carpal tunnel syndrome

Background: Ultrasound is a tool that has experienced great development in the diagnosis of neural compressive pathologies such as carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). For treatment planning is important to establish the severity of the disease and it would be relevant to know the ability of ultrasound to discriminate the degree of impairment of the median nerve at this level.
