Differing psychologically-derived clusters in people with chronic low back pain are associated with different multidimensional profiles

Background: Psychological factors are associated with pain/disability in chronic low back pain (CLBP). Psychological treatment outcomes in CLBP are moderate at best, possibly reflecting sample heterogeneity or because other dimensions associated with CLBP (e.g. lifestyle) are not targeted. While CLBP subgroups have been statistically-derived using psychological data, studies have examined limited measures making it unclear which psychological factors are most important for subgrouping.
