K β/Kα X-ray intensity ratios for some elements in the atomic number range 28≤Z≤39 at 16.896 keV

Publication date: Available online 20 April 2017 Source:Journal of Radiation Research and Applied Sciences Author(s): R. Yılmaz The K shell intensity ratios ( K β / K α ) have been experimentally determined for some elements in the atomic number range 28 ≤ Z ≤ 39 by using secondary excitation method. K X-rays emitted by samples have been counted by a Si (Li) detector with 160 eV resolutions at 5.9 keV. The measured values were compared with the theoretical and experimental values. In general, the values obtained are in good agreement with the calculated values.
