Bio-EdIP: An Automatic Approach for In vitro Cell Confluence Images Quantification

Cell imaging is a tool used to study molecular and/or biological events. In fact, to develop quantitative approaches is an important task. In this context, digital image processing (DIP) can be applied to study image data through different techniques, such as algorithms of classification, digital features extraction, patter recognition, among others [1,2].
