Prediction of Epileptic Seizures from EEG using Analysis of Ictal Rules on Poincar é Plane

Epilepsy is a chronic non-communicable disorder of the brain that affects individuals of all ages. It manifests itself with recurrent and abrupt seizures. About 50 million people worldwide are affected by epilepsy, making it globally one of the most common neurological diseases. Nearly three fourths of people with epilepsy living in low- and middle- income countries do not get proper treatment [1]. People who suffer from epilepsy are sometimes involved in accidents or get injuries due to unawareness of their seizure onset.
