The most challenging role
In the past months, I have contemplated one of the most challenging roles we confront as a nurse, the one of family care giver. Perhaps, it is entering that phase of life known as the sandwich generation or the recent experiences of individuals that I care about that have made me more cognizant. During the educational process and in clinical practice, we are taught about being the best care provider and always advocating for our patients' well-being. When I first began my nursing career as a pediatric nurse, I tried to provide the best care possible.
