Immunohistochemical detection of α-methylacyl coenzyme A racemase in gastric adenocarcinoma and its precursor lesions: a comparative study with the proliferative index of the tumor
Conclusion: As a new studied marker in gastric lesions, AMACR% is not expressed in normal gastric tissue and it significantly diagnoses dysplastic lesions and carcinomas, but still Ki-67% is superior to AMACR% as a diagnostic test differentiating benign, dysplastic, and malignant gastric lesions.
