Seven mm long dental implants in posterior jaws: 3-year report of an ongoing prospective single cohort study.

CONCLUSIONS: Within the limitations of this study, 7 mm long implants in posterior atrophic jaws can be a viable treatment option given the good prosthetic and implant success rates, low marginal bone loss and low incidence of complications. Nevertheless, longer follow-ups are needed to validate the long-term outcome. Conflict-of-interest statement: This study was funded by grant no. 2015-1378 from Nobel Biocare Services.
