Endothelin 1 and endothelial dysfunction in children with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome

Endothelial dysfunction is the initial step for atherogenesis. Children with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome are at risk of endothelial dysfunction due to altered cholesterol metabolism which can lead to early atherosclerosis.
