Abstract A87: [Advocate Abstract:] Bridging the Gap Between Science and Patient Advocacy

There are plenty of ways that scientific community and cancer advocacy community can partner. Both parties face the cancer priorities each day. It is imperative to advocate for the cancer drug parity act, advocate for better access to clinical trials, and educate survivors. It is understandable that researchers lose track of the bigger picture, however advocates can provide a cancer survivor's perspective to incredible talented group of scientist who are the front lines in the battle to cure cancer.Citation Format: Wayne Dornan.
