Cardiac involvement is rarely seen in patients with hydatid disease, and described in less than 2% of cases. Involvement of the interventricular septum is even rarer. Herein, we report our surgical treatment of a cardiac hydatid cyst in the interventricular septum which was successfully treated with surgery and albendazole therapy.
