Three Years as Editor-in-Chief
Although my original contract started as Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of Progress in Cardiovascular Diseases (PCVD) three years ago in January, 2014, I actually started working full blast for the Journal almost a year before this (January, 2013) in order to have my issues ready to go for 2014. As I indicated in recent Editorials in the Journal1,2 clearly my very first Issue on one of my favorite topics (Obesity and “Obesity Paradox” in Cardiovascular Diseases) has been perhaps the most successful, at least regarding citations, in the history of PCVD.
