Medication induced glaucoma
Glaucoma poses a significant public health problem. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates the prevalence of blindness from glaucoma at more than 8 million, with 4 million cases caused by primary open angle glaucoma (POAG). Glaucoma is responsible for 12.3% of blindness, making it the second leading cause of blindness worldwide, after cataract.1
