Antipsychotic prescribing down for youth, especially for the youngest

The trend in prescribing antipsychotics for youth has gone down from 50 per 1,000 in 2008 to 30 per 1,000 in 2013, researchers have found. They looked into the reasons for this decrease and found that the largest decrease was for children under age 6.
