Phonetic analysis during treatment with rapid maxillary expander
ConclusionRapid maxillary expansion causes a slight phonetic change in the acoustical parameters of both consonants and vowels. The two‐arm Hyrax caused less speech impairment than the four‐arm Hyrax during the treatment.
