Practical Identifiability Analysis of a Minimal Cardiovascular System Model

Mathematical models of the cardiovascular system (CVS) can be used with clinical data to monitor cardiac and circulatory states. To have clinical value, these models must be patient-specific. In other words, the model parameters have to be estimated from data such that model simulations represent the individual patient ’s state [10,22,30,38].
