National Council Licensure Examination: Learning Strategies for the Integrated Processes
The National Council Licensure Examination for the Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN) includes five integrated processes. These are referred to as “fundamental to the practice of nursing” (National Council of State Boards of Nursing [NCSBN], 2016, p. 5). The integrated processes are often used across the NCLEX-RN. These concepts will be present no matter what client needs are being assessed in any given test question. Therefore, it is esse ntial that faculty at all levels of nursing and in all learning environments address the integrated processes often.
