Anju Aesthetic demand has increased tremendously in the recent years and so has the demand for the consequent cosmetic periodontal surgeries. One of the most common aesthetic problems encountered is the gingival recession, especially in the anterior region. Gingival recession is the exposure of root surface due to apical migration of gingival margin. Many patients seek treatment because of aesthetic concerns, root sensitivity or fear of loss of affected tooth. This case report describes management of gingival recession using connective tissue graft and laterally repositioned flap after root surface biomodification.
