Scott’s Human Library Event in Campus News

Scott Library hosted a Human Library event on Wednesday, April 2nd, offering students the opportunity to ‘check out’ a ‘live book‘–a volunteer who agreed to spend 30 minutes in 1:1 conversation with them. Each volunteer book experienced some form of discrimination (such as, intolerance, bigotry, inequity, prejudice) because of who they are and students were encouraged to ask them questions so they could share their stories.
