Surgeon general issues report warning youth against vaping

Shortly after its release of the landmark report on alcohol and drugs last fall, the Office of the Surgeon General issued another report warning against the use of e‐cigarettes by youth and young adults. Vaping “has the potential to create a whole new generation of kids who are addicted to nicotine,” said Vivek Murthy, M.D., the U.S. surgeon general, in announcing the report in early December.
