Body Kindness Advent Day 15: Savor a Festive Favorite

Body Kindness Activity: Savor a Festive Favorite Candy canes are a classic Christmas treat, but I betcha didn’t know that they were actually created in the 1400s to keep kids quite in church. Over the years they became ‘J’ shaped to resemble the shepherds crook that visited baby Jesus at the first Christmas.  They’re great as a dipper in your hot cocoa or latte, with holiday peppermint bark or simply hanging on the tree. We all know there are plenty of holiday snacks to go around. Instead of avoiding treats, eat what you like with a gentle reminder that your enjoyment counts way more than the calories.
