Influenza and Immune Profile

Arriaga-Pizano et  al. (1) published an interesting article about the immune differences of the two waves of the influenza virus in the Mexican population in 2009. A significant elevation of IL-6 (>10 fold above controls), IL-4 and IL 10 was observed in the second wave with respect to the first.
