Body Kindness Advent Day 13: Savor New Flavors

Dust off your cookbooks and inspire your inner chef. No matter how easy or hard your recipe is to prepare you will gain so much by making it yourself. Notice the sounds, smells, aromas, and physicality of preparing your meal. Plate it nicely, light some candles and savor each bite. My girls love helping with meals. A recent trip to the grocery store sparked Audrey’s interest in squid ink pasta (she calls it black noodles). We brought a box home with us and added it to zucchini spaghetti – the dish was new for all of us. Build on family favorites and never stop exploring new flavors and recipes.
