PET Studies in non-Human Primates: Choosing Drug Doses
The techniques of molecular imaging, and in particular Positron Emission Tomography (PET), have provided scientists with exciting possibilities of non-invasive studies of the biochemistry of the living brain. Through the use of radiolabeled tracers and pharmacological interventions, the interconnections of neurochemical systems can be examined as a means to better understand the brain and the effects of drugs on its function.
