EDUCATION: May Breezing and Spotlight dates….note url and dates!

Wednesday, May 7, 10:00 MT/11:00 CT -  Breezing Along with the RML:  1) “Enhanced Vision for Librarians: Innovating with Google Glass,”  showcasing how librarians are utilizing Google Glass collaboratively to integrate new technology into health care and education.  Presenters:  Heather Collins and Christina Magnifico, both from the University of Kansas Medical Center, Dykes Library. 2)  “What, Why and How Questions about Open Access and Biomedical Literature”, presented by Jim Honour along with Kelly Visnak,  scholarly communications librarian at University of Wyoming Libraries  who will be sharing her knowledge  on  the NIH Data Sharing policy.  She will  show the UW Libraries’ repository as an example of how one Resource Library  can handle open access data and literature. Wednesday, May 28 – 1:00 MT/2:00 CT – Spotlight! on NLM Resources – Mobile Resources:   John Bramble will be presenting on many of the free mobile apps available in National Library of Medicine Gallery of Mobile Apps (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/mobile/).
