Bloomfire: Connecting our Communities

LIVESTRONGis proud to have partnered withBloomfire since May 2013. Initially, we utilized the tool only as our internal staff Intranet. Unlike a standard static Intranet, Bloomfire is a dynamic product and immediately allowed LIVESTRONGemployees to stay in touch with one another from a work or home computer and, eventually, from a hand held device through the recently launched Bloomfire mobile app. LIVESTRONGstaff uses Bloomfire for traditional human resources and accounting purposes, as well as for sharing internal news and social events.In January 2016, LIVESTRONGstrategically expanded our utilization of Bloomfire to serve as the online community and interface for ourLIVESTRONGLeader program. As our most engaged and active group of volunteers, our LIVESTRONG Leaders are the organization ’s voice in each of their local communities around the world. Bloomfire provides a sense of community and online business resources needed to keep the Leaders connected with LIVESTRONG headquarters and the larger Leader community.Whether for internal staff purposes or external volunteer needs, Bloomfire is straightforward and easy to implement, navigate and utilize.
