Adult reading assessment tools: a psychometric study

Conclusion: this study presents psychometric data from two adult reading assessment instruments. Both instruments had satisfactory validity and reliability. Given the lack of national standardized instruments for adult reading assessment, the present study contributes to the development of future instrumentation for this field.
