The New Approach of Multiple Genome Sequence Parallel Matching based on GPU

Suffix trees and suffix arrays have recently received broad attention and use in bioinformatics applications, in particular for the use of DNA sequence alignments at the early matching phrase of heuristic algorithms. This research comes up with the implementation as well as optimization of suffix tree and suffix array on many-core and multi-core platforms for accelerating multiple genome sequence searching. In comparison to the traditional approaches, a binary searching with tile optimization and coalesced memory access under the GPU architecture is conducted in an effective fashion.
