The Queen opens new Francis Crick Institute building

The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh and the Duke of York, yesterday opened the£650 million Francis Crick Institute. During a tour of the new biomedical facility, The Queen began the sequencing of Sir Paul Nurse’s genome– all three billion letters in his DNA code
