Rthp-08. long-term follow up of high-risk low-grade glioma patients treated with radiotherapy (rt) or rt and adjuvant temozolamide or procarbazine, ccnu, and vincristine (pcv) chemotherapy at a single institution
CONCLUSION:Similar to RTOG-9802, chemotherapy improved survival compared to RT in our small, retrospective study. TMZ was associated with improved survival in astrocytomas compared to RT alone. Though not statistically significant, PCV was associated with improved OS compared to TMZ, however, a higher proportion of oligodendroglioma patients received PCV. Molecular markers were not routinely assessed in this cohort during this era.
