Rthp-06. treatment of vestibular schwannoma with stereotactic radiation: a single institution comparison of 3 different linac-based fractionation schemas

CONCLUSIONS:All three regimens (cfSRT, hSRT, and SRS) demonstrated similar excellent local control with minimal toxicity. However, the ability of hSRT to treat larger tumors (or tumors abutting the brain stem) with comparable outcomes to SRS and the greater patient convenience when compared to cfSRT, suggest that hSRT may be an optimal treatment approach.
