Qlif-25. physical health risks in neuro-oncology family caregivers

CONCLUSIONS:Findings suggest that poor emotional health during caregiving is associated with markers of risk for cardiovascular disease. Clinically, interventions to address emotional health in caregivers should be implemented at the time of diagnosis. Future studies are needed to determine how these relationships change throughout the care situation, particularly given the strong link between CRP and cardiovascular health.
