Obstructed prosthetic valve thrombosis of a pure carbon bi-leaflet aortic valve [CASE REPORT]

We present an extremely rare case of obstructed prosthetic aortic valve thrombosis of a pure pyrolytic carbon valve. The patient was successfully treated with complete surgical thrombectomy.
