RUbioSeq+: a multiplatform application that executes parallelized pipelines to analyse next-generation sequencing data

• RUbioSeq+, a multiplatform application for the integrated analysis of NGS data is presented.• Our software implements pipelines for the analysis of single nucleotide and copy-number variation, bisulfite-seq and ChIP-seq experiments, using well-established tools to perform these common tasks.• RUbioSeq+ also incorporates a new Graphical User Interface (GUI), designed for interdisciplinary research groups where bioinformaticians and biomedical researchers work together.• To our knowledge, there is no other current application with similar characteristics and such a number of automated w orkflows and utilities for NGS data analysis.
